USS Colorado (BB-45) Alumni Association
The veterans of Battleship Colorado formed an Alumni Association in 1954. They held active reunions and events. Published a newsletter and maintained a website. At the peak they had over 800 members. As time progressed those numbers dwindled and in 2020 they disestablished their website and forwarded those files to the Submarine Association.
We are posting many of those files here on our website to pay homage to and document the history of those brave veterans of USS Colorado (BB-45). While these pages are intended to replicate much of the original website, some minor edits to the text have been made.

This site is dedicated to all the men who served aboard the battleship U.S.S. COLORADO, BB-45, 1923-1947. We will never forget our shipmates who were killed in action or missing in action aboard her.
